Term One Week Four Bulletin
Dear Families,
Thank you to all the families who braved the cooler weather and wind to attend our 2025 Welcome Picnic. Given the weather, I was a little concerned that not many families would turn up, but it was great to see so many there.
For all our new families, we really encourage you to attend these school events. They are a great way to meet other families, and we have worked hard to promote and build an engaged and supportive school community. Like any community, our strength comes from the times we gather, so events like the Welcome Picnic, Easter Egg Hunt, etc., are really important events in the school calendar.
Challenge Learning Community Camp
Our Challenge Learning Community camp is fast approaching. Can we ask all the parents and guardians of these children to ensure that forms (especially medical forms) are returned to the school as soon as possible so this information can be recorded and the teachers can prepare for camp.
School Uniform
We seem to be collecting a lot of school uniform items again, and we are only in Week Four! School uniforms are not cheap, so it really important that all the items of your child’s school uniform are clearly labelled. Children will inevitably take off jumpers and forget to collect them at the end of playtime so labelling their uniform helps us return it to the correct child.
Staffing Update
Sadly, last week, we had to say farewell to one of our Learning Support Officers, Holly Fenn. We wish her the best of luck in her future endeavours. We will begin the process of seeking a replacement for Holly to ensure the continuation of support for our children with additional learning needs.
Term Overviews
My apologies to our community. I meant to send out the Term Overviews at the end of last week but did not get to it in time. They will be sent out this afternoon. Please remember that if you have any questions, you should make time to speak to your classroom teacher.
